Good morning,

The market is now open.

This will be the last week of Thursday pick-ups. Beginning next week, the online market will be open an extra day but you must pick up orders on Saturday mornings at our downtown “live” market, 8-10 am. You will still have the benefit of pre-ordering & selecting some products which aren’t typically available on Saturday, but also the opportunity to browse our other market products while picking up.

Market is Open!

The market is open once again this week, so be sure & stock up!

Schedule is the same for the next two weeks, but in May we will change it up a bit. Now that Saturday market has started back up, it is more difficult for some of our growers to deliver online orders on Thursday. So, the pickup will be changed to Saturdays during market hours 8 am to Noon. Shopping time will be the same, but extended an extra day. We hope this will give you all opportunity to shop market goods that aren’t online, while still having the luxury of pre-ordering to be sure you get what you need.

Again this change doesn’t go into effect UNTIL MAY, so I will see you this Thursday & answer any questions you may have.

Closed this week

Good morning,

The online market will be closed this week. Spring is the absolute busiest time on the farms & I’d like to give everyone a breather.
At the same time, happy Springtime hens have us overflowing in eggs. If you would like to place an egg-only order for a quick exchange this Thursday at 4:30, please call or text me at 903-440-5392 and specify how many dozen & which producer.
I’ll see the rest of you next week or come visit our Saturday market 8-noon…lots of goodies there too!

Market is open & Saturday opening day!

Good Monday morning once again.
The online market is open for convenient shopping from home. I’d also like to invite you to visit our Saturday markets, which open this coming weekend. Find a whole new array of local products on Market Street each Saturday 8-noon. This is a great chance to come & meet your friendly farmers, shop a wide variety of products, and get in a nice Saturday stroll! (Rainy day location: 112 Elm St beneath the covered pavilion.)

What a nice weekend; feels as though Spring is finally here to stay! Fruit trees are budding, onions & other early starters are well on their way to being ready, chicks are hatching… I just love this time of year!

Spring seems right around the corner & we are all looking forward to more fresh produce with its arrival. In the meantime stock up from our abundance of eggs: hens are ever so happy that they’re through the worst of winter too!
